THE KEEPSAFE SCHEME
Chichester Police and the Chichester District Council are helping to make the homes of vulnerable people more secure. The scheme known as ‘KEEPSAFE’ provides free locks and security advice to people living in the Chichester District. These people could be vulnerable due to age, location, or domestic situation.
The scheme, which is means tested, uses the ‘handy person’ from Martlet Homes to carry out the work on their behalf.
The ‘KEEPSAFE’ scheme has made the lives of many hundreds of vulnerable residents feel more comfortable and secure in their own homes, by reducing their fear of crime.
